About Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer is a type of cancer that affects the ovaries, the female reproductive organs responsible for producing eggs and hormones. It is often referred to as the "silent killer" due to its subtle symptoms and late-stage detection. However, with early diagnosis and proper treatment, the chances of survival increase significantly.

Meeting Details

We hold our support group meetings every Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Kadlec Medical Center. The meetings are free of charge and open to individuals of all ages who are affected by ovarian cancer, including patients, survivors, and their loved ones. Light refreshments will be provided.
