Welcome to the Ovarian Cancer Support Group at Kadlec. We understand that navigating through a cancer diagnosis can be a challenging journey, and our support group is here to provide comfort, guidance, and resources to women who are facing or have faced ovarian cancer.

What is Ovarian Cancer?

Ovarian cancer is a type of cancer that begins in the ovaries, the reproductive organs responsible for producing eggs and female hormones. It often goes undetected until it has spread within the pelvis and abdomen. Early-stage ovarian cancer may not present noticeable symptoms, leading to a delayed diagnosis.

Meeting Details

The Ovarian Cancer Support Group at Kadlec meets regularly on the first Wednesday of every month from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The meetings are held at the Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Attendees are encouraged to bring a caregiver or loved one for additional support.

If you or a loved one is battling ovarian cancer, we invite you to join our support group and find solace in a community that understands your experiences. To become a member of the Ovarian Cancer Support Group at Kadlec, please contact Sibel Blau, our dedicated facilitator. Sibel is an experienced oncology nurse and is committed to providing compassionate support to each member of the group.

Together, we can face ovarian cancer head-on and build a strong support system that empowers us to thrive in the face of adversity.
